Comments : Life And The What If's

I often say "I do not want to want the things that I want. Yet, the things that I truly want to want I do not want".

This poems reminds me of that very feeling and the struggles we obtain by trying to do what is right instead of what our heart says.

I love the very last stanza:

What if you've given it your all
    But somehow it'll never be?
    Some give up
    And some keep fighting
    But in the end...
    Are you really satisfied?

It speaks such truth and conviction. It also makes me wonder if there is any thing that we as humans can do to ever reach satisfaction.

Good question in the end..I had the same question after graduating college..whether i was satisfied with how i spent my time..was the sacrifice worth it in the end. Good flow..keep it up.

The world is never satifide if it was we would have given up years ago. we always have regret always want more.

that was to answer your question at the end of your poem.

An interesting poem, simple yet it reveals the other side of life which is sometimes true (the struggles that sometimes doesn't work out so well).. i like the second stanza coz it holds so many emotions and situations. very well expressed! keep up the good work!!

Hmmm. it depends on what you hadda do to get to the goal. somethings are impossible. somethings become pointless in the end because in order to reach the goal you have to become immoral.

    good poem. =]
