Losing Hope

by Aaron Deevers   Aug 28, 2007

I stand here alone
Alone in this world
A world of love and pain

I stand here wondering
Wondering if there is love
Love I have not felt
Felt is the pain of an empty heart

Do I stand here alone?
Alone in this agonizing pain
Pain that is just too great

A heart that is losing hope each second
Each second as I live in this world
A world I have hated for so long

As I lose hope
I lose the ability to live
Living a life with no one to love
Or no one to love me

This is the end
End to all this pain
End of search for love
The true one for me
Will follow one day
In my foot steps

~I have many poems that no one has voted or commented, if you could look at them, I'd be deeply grateful.~

    Awww. hold on, alright.

one little thing though: Felt is the pain of an empty heart. that line sounds off or something...felt is the pain???

5 anyway, for the emotion. i cant figure out who/what id rather hug now. you or your poem. im sorry if that sounds odd to you. but sometimes people write poems that make an impact on me because im moved by it, and i just want to pick up their poem and hug it! =]
