Shy girl

by Valiantpenguin   Aug 28, 2007

She sits in the back of all her classes
She doesn't talk at all
She lays her head upon her desk
And writes sad poetry to put o her wall

They laugh and joke and throw things at her
Say she cuts her wrists at night
But they don't see the truth behind their words
When they say she need help they don't know she just might

She doesn't know about her secret admirer
Who watches her lovingly day after day
Her initials are carved into his arms
She doesn't see how much she means to him

He sits in the other corner desk in the back
Of every class she has
He talks as much as she does
And they treat him the same way

Then one day she sees the boy
She sees the guys picking on him
So she gathers her strength into her center
And saves the poor boy

Now they're a happy couple
No one makes fun of them anymore
They help each other with their family problems
And they live as happily as they can
