Split Level Kisses

Split Level Kisses

Shortness is a gift,
along with being tall.
Yet it seems today no one is satisfied.

I look up to you,
whether I desire to or not.
Yet I'm always met with a knockout smile.

Standing next to each other,
often sprouts a giggle.
Yet, we're more then happy with what we have.

You look down to me,
staring into passionate turquoise eyes.
Yet, there's no hiding the obvious love.

When gazes lock into focus,
our worlds melt away.
Yet something stays persistent.

Slowly I rise to a perfect eleve,
feeling your ever so soft lips mesh with mine.
Yet the feeling of being watched still remains.

I wish for relaxation,
where we could kiss without worries.
Yet i know that will not happen until the words I Do

To you my love,
I will always truly love you,
Yet no matter what the circumstance, I will always welcome one more split level kiss.

got the idea to use that phrase was amazing. That is simple yet deep love in a nut shell AND it was the kind of love poem that just made me smile. Great, great, great job!!! :D

Alrite one little correction right off the bat.. the title of the poem is split level kisses yet in the pink bar it says spilt level kisses so I think if you change it, it might get a bit more votes/comments. This poem was preaty good but I think that you need to look it over a bit more because there is another typo in the poem. there is a copewright sign thrown in the middle of a word.
