I remember that day so well, where I was, what I was doing. I didn't know anything about pain or fear, I lost no one I knew that day. Yet that day was to change my life, through the choices that were made. In future years, I would see friends fallen before their time. The tremors of that quake, are still felt to this very day. Every fire truck and ambulance, every siren I hear... flashes back the past six years through my mind. Always remembered, never forgotten, the vow of those who have been left behind.
