Put it on paper

by Arun Khan   Aug 28, 2007

He can't write anymore
His mind's not clear
He's crawling on the floor
Such a weird feeling this fear
Picks up a pen
Tries to write again and again
It won't come out
Feelings closed
Without his voice he can't shout
His mind is hanging on a thread so thin
Take a second to look
Caress his cheek
What a sad story book
To many worries at youth's blessed peak
He can't give up
There's too much
Too many responsibilities and such

Put it on paper
Put it on paper
Let it all out
But you won't feel safer

It's starting to get to him
That concrete reality
His eyes shining, heart so dim
Such a fragile sanity
He feels so helpless
They're all asking advice
His thoughts are violent and shapeless
He's lost a child's play, lustful dice
Crimson rivers, dry tears flowing
He can't write anymore
His minds not clear
He tries to shout
But he knows no one's there

Put it on paper
Put it on paper
Let it all out
But you won't feel safer

Hmm... really good. Like the few lines you repeat, it makes it brilliant...
