I've felt the hurt and the pain

the hardest part
is letting someone in

the one thing i found
that works for me
is don't let anyone in
and your heart can be free

i just cant imagine
getting hurt again
so I'm sorry but the answer is no
even though your a good friend

you say you wont hurt me
and you say it over and over again
but when it finally happens
your gonna be saying I'm sorry in the end

well, look i just really
want us to be friends
but maybe in the future
