Did You Know It`s Impossible to Breathe? [Rispetto]

The calendar is marked from the day that you decided to leave,
August third, just a week before our twenty-second anniversary;
And I`m looking for a sign of hope to save my heart on my sleeve,
But without you here, there is no chance in Hell left for me.

I count the golden stars to try to occupy my drunken mind,
But the only thing from all this that I have come to find;
Is that the threads bearing my heart are now just too complicated to weave,
Because since we fell apart - did you know it`s impossible to breathe?
