It don't matter anymore

by Melissa   Aug 29, 2007

So you despise the sky
for proving the weatherman lies
now the truth sits inside
while god plays golf with your mind,
but it don't matter anymore

Cause the sweet tart
who licked your heart
became a sour-head in the end
and now you've deemed all friends
as cocked weapons
ready to fire
every little nasty deed
over the entire town,
but it don't matter anymore

Cause all those folks are gone
since that wall was drawn,
but the real kicker is
how the hell do you get out,
Mr. it don't matter anymore?

WOW - brilliant!!! I really liked this one. Such a tale of bitterness and the survival mechanism that becomes us all when we reach the bitter part of our lives before we accept the truth. Lovely piece Melissa.
