KICK TO THE CURB

by Richard S   Aug 29, 2007

I would have done anything for you,
But you just didn't see.
I changed myself for you,
So that I wasn't really me.
You didn't care enough,
And now I'm more then feelin' blue.

Its time for a change.
Its time to start anew.
Its time I took out the trash.
Its time I recycled for the cash
Its time I cared for myself.
Its time I got off the shelf,
And got this body detailed.
Its time I kicked you to the curb.

I would have been anyone for you,
But you just didn't see,
That I became nobody to you.
And that was the real me.
I didn't care enough,
So now its time that someone flew

Its time for a change
It time to start anew.
Its time I clean out the house.
Its time that cat eat that mouse.
Its time I looked in the mirror.
Its time I conquered my fear,
And got back my self respect.
Its time I kicked you to the curb.

And now I'd do anything TO you,
But you still wouldn't see,
That I've become someone who,
Approaches the real me,
Because I finally care enough,
To stop being SCREWED

And now I'm makin' that change.
I'm startin' anew.
I'm packin' your bags.
I'm ignorin' your nags.
And I'm not takin' the hurt,
You liked to serve for dessert.
And for this one happy time,
I'm finally kickin' you to the curb.
