Rescuing

So use to being a girl in trouble
In need of rescuing on the double.

Oh the fantasy's that played on my mind
Wanting a man to rescue me all the time

The feelings of fear and dread
Many times wishing to be dead

All those feelings come and go
The feelings didn't want anyone to know

There are times still trying to hide my feelings
Gradually overcoming the need of rescuing

Blame it on society for instilling it in our pretty little heads
From the time we are born till the time we are dead.
