Even in Uncertainty

by sibyllene   Aug 30, 2007

Even in uncertainty
You fascinate. Especially then,
Perhaps.

Never is the morning star
So bright, as at the moment
Of death-bringing dawn.

Bright as the star, and
As doomed, brilliant
In your transience.

Your slips and sidesteps form
A halting dance, entrancing
As it is unattainable.

My entire reckless world
Centers on the steady beat
Of your wayward heart.

Brillian Sillybean, just brilliant. I liked the ending how you tie it up in the fact that your world rests on the stability of the unstable.
