Frustration

by Koreena   Aug 30, 2007

Intensity builds up
You feel the pressure inside
Wishing it would just go away
As it gets harder to hide

Then suddenly it hurts
And you try to be alone
For if someone were to spark you right
Your true feelings would be shown

You hold it in as long as you can
But it's eating you through and through
You think of better things
But it appears as if there's nothing more to do

Then it hits the point
The point you can't control
For the more you say and do
Digs you a bigger hole

You say things you shouldn't
Do things you'll later regret
And as you push others away
You put yourself in emotional debt

Eventually your rant is over
You let it all out
But in releasing your frustration
You distributed it about

Now your friends won't talk to you
Your face is an aggravating sight
All because of a simple emotion
That you couldn't control with all your might
