Laughter

Enjoy The Show:

Watch as he dances
Up on the stage
In that spot that you've put him
In his spotlight cage
And watch as he dances
And tries to entertain
Pay no attention
That he's held with a chain
And pay no attention
To the fact he's wearing that mask
Don't give any heed
To anything that he'd ask
He's only a clown
And he so loves to dance
He loves to distract you
And keep you in a trance
So watch from your seat
And stay hidden in the theater's dark
Laugh and don't worry
Clowns have no heart

Should I speak up, no
You'd never let me in
Stay a step removed and laugh
At your sad little harlequin
As he dances around
With a painted on smile
If you'd care to take a look
You'd see he's been dead all the while
You just clap your pretty hands
While he sings his song
Ignore the fact he's a corpse
A puppet on your strings all along
Sit tight my lovely
And don't bat an eye
So long as you're entertained
What does it matter I die

Bravo, oh the laughter,
I told you he's good
Jesting with a pirouette
Just as any clown should
Bravo, oh the sight
Of this asinine jester
Come now, applaud and go
No need to let him fester
Bravo, oh the humor
Of one such as he
Dancing alone
Miserable captivity
Bravo, what's that you say
Should he come back for more
Splendid, indeed
I think we could all use an encore

What's this? He's dead?
And he looks so far gone
None the matter, so he's dead?
The show must go on
So go ahead and clap
As the clown takes a bow
Someone may as well enjoy it
And he's dead, anyhow.

Well, i suppose i agree with the person above, though i dont think id use words that sound like they belong on an advertisement for food, but that was beautiful, it had perfect pace, flow, and the imagery was phenomenal, gud job
