Broken;

by StoryOfAGirl   Aug 30, 2007

That's why she cries;
she's broken inside.
That smile she wears is fake,
just like the world around her.
It could easily wash away
like rain on a cloudy day.
And she doesn't even know
why the sun still shines
because all she's really doing
is dying on the inside.
All she really wants is for someone to look her way.
someone real.
And she's not the only one.

And sometimes she wishes,
she was as invisible as they make her feel.
But all she really does
is put a fake smile on her face,
keep her head up high,
looks like nothings wrong and
pretend that she's not hurting.
