Reflections

My love for you shall never perish
every memory will be forever cherished

passionate kisses laid upon tender lips
taking place under the moons eclipse

interlacing fingers a love to adore
romantic walks shared along the shore

souls intertwining as though they are one
hearts never knew true love had begun

two years later we solemnly vow
together we will make love work some how

today we celebrate our fiftieth anniversary
while cradling our grandchildren in their nursery

who would have thought we would come this far
that very first day we met while you played the guitar
