Waiting For That Special One

I stand here waiting
Waiting for the special person
That person who will comfort me
That will hold me when I'm cold
Tell me that they love me when I do not ask

I wait for this one person
The person who will bring peace to my world
Silent all the pain that I have felt
The one who will rather die than watch me suffer

One day when that person comes
I will be waiting and hoping that it'll be soon
God will one day bring us together

As I wish for that day to come
I will continue to suffer
But I will survive to I meet them
The one love that will make me whole
