Everlasting Arms

by Donna   Aug 31, 2007

Child, I can see your strength is beginning to fade / I know when your heart is breaking / Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed / Yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken / Nor my covenant of peace be removed

As the tears fall from your eyes / My heart bends to your cries / Even in the night I see I hear / And I speak peace in the midst of your fears / My arms are wrapped around you / I have bottled your tears to present to My Father / The eternal God is your refuge / And underneath are the Everlasting Arms

Be strong and take heart / All you who hope in the Lord / My soul finds rest in God alone my salvation comes from him / There is no place too far away for You to hear me / There is no distance too great for Your love to reach

I have bottled your tears to present to My Father / The eternal God is your refuge / And underneath are the Everlasting Arms

    Hi donna ,

i had to stop and write you a comment because your lyrics have just touched my soul and have made such an impact on my life. I am a christian and i am a singer and i have been looking for someone who can write lyrics for me with such a prophetic word and you definitely have a gift. I write as well and have such a joy expressing my love for the Lord. He has opened many doors for me in my music career and continues to do so and God willing i am headed to reach to masses of people with my gift.

Maybe one day i will be able to use your lyrics, with your consent first of course, to reach out to many people and change lives by the millions with the Lord's love messages . let me know if that is a possibility.

I pray that God will continue to bless you and continue to use your gift by glorifying His name and may it speak from your heart.

    God bless
