Dead and Forgotten

by Daz Mellow   Aug 31, 2007

You can see its beauty, for its elegant pose.
But can you see its beauty, for a flower, not a rose?

Without the beauty to attract your eyes,
Can you still see its value, for what's inside?

When the last of its leaves, glide below,
Will you still see the beauty, as time takes its tow?

Or will you leave it, like you left me...
To lie on the earth, dead and forgotten...?

I liked this poem im guessing a hurtful relationship and how people seem to just see the physical and not the person themselves! i did enjoy reading this but the last stanza seemed to break the flow of it i dont know if you meant for this but yeah but 9/10 :)
