You're The One I Want To Love [Triolet]

by TwiztidJuggalette   Aug 31, 2007

You're the one I want to love, until the very end
No one else could even come close comparing to you
These feelings I have for you aren't pretend
You're the one I want to love, until the very end
No matter what comes our way, I'll stay by your side and help you defend
Lets take our love, and help it stay true
You're the one I want to love, until the very end
No one else could even come close comparing to you

A Triolet is a type of poetry form consisting of only 8 lines. Within a Triolet, the 1st, 4th, and 7th lines repeat, and the 2nd and 8th lines do as well. The rhyme scheme is simple: ABaAabAB, capital letters representing the repeated lines.

Wow, this is an absolute amazing piece.
This type of poetry is pretty nice, I should try
writing a Triolet. I hope you continue to
write. I love the last line of the poem, it sums
it up very well. This deserves a 5/5!

This is very good. I also admire structured poetry as I find that it is the hardest.

The only thing I would change is the very last line.

    I would write it:

No one else could even come close comparing to you

By removing the first to in that sentence you allow it to flow better.

That is just my thought babe. Overall, this is well written.
