Really beautiful imagery and great concept! I've never stumbled across something like this. I've read poems where the poet uses a plume but not the whole birdie ^_^ Awesome work!

I know you entered this poem in my contest, it's lovely, but you did not respect the rule where I said to make your poem rhyme. I'm sorry but I cannot consider this poem as an entry, because then I wouldn't be fair to those who made theirs rhyme. You may submit a new rhyming one though, if you wish.
