Nothing

I cant understand why you believe in this madness,
I look around me and all I see is sadness,
There's nothing around, nobody there,
To comfort me when I'm really scared,
And to everybody else, I'm a demon, wicked,
Just because I dont believe in someone that never existed,
There's war, famine, poverty, death and disease,
With that to gaze upon I can never believe,
Why waste your time in going to church?
Nobodys listening to your prayers and hurt,
Don't delude yourself and blind your eyes,
Cover yourself with wistful lies,
There's nothing out there, there never was,
No Divine being whose name is God.
