There and Back Again

The gaze in your eyes
tells me that this has to be real
you put your arms around my body
but my soul is what you really feel

As i peer deeper into your gaze
i am suddenly lifted into a glorious place
a place where i am burden free
and place that leaves no room for disgrace

above the clouds i soar
with you right beside me every step
and even if i were to fall right out of this
this is something i will never regret

hand in hand we fly away
from all the pains and heartache
to our own little paradise
that to others may appear fake

but i know that this will never end
i can feel it in my soul
your body is what i long for
but your heart is my true goal
