Black Roses Fall

by MN   Aug 31, 2007

This is the second poem of the Fallen Angel trio, The first is Fallen has the Angel, and the third is Angel Now of Death

Black roses fall,
Upon those who were taken,
Flowers of beauty and death,
Black roses fall

The impossible flower,
The unnatural omen,
The flower of tourment,
The black rose

Black roses fall,
Upon the fallen angel,
Petals lying in pools of blood,
Black roses fall

Floating petals,
Black stars blocking the light,
A funeral for the fallen angel,
The black rose

Black roses fall,
Upon now a death angel,
Sitting were the fallen angel was dead,
Black roses fall

Crushed are the flowers,
In a new hand of ice cold skin,
Blood trickling down,
The black rose

Black roses fall,
Upon hate and fear,
Were it once was love and trust,
Black roses fall

The mantra give your poem something extra.
I like the idea of an angel thrilogy.
And like the first one, this really captured the mood.
