Fly By Night

by .K.i.T.t.Y.   Aug 31, 2007

Let's fly by night, and hide by day,
Let's leave this sight, and runaway,
There's no use in reminiscing,
Let go of the land you're bracing...

- Tomorrow we'll be on our way.

So follow me, and bid adieu,
Tomorrow flee, and start anew,
When the warming sun arises,
We'll treat her to my surprises...

- Let's fly by night...

And hide behind golden corn fields,
Using the thick stalk as tough shields,
Until night falls, we will soar,
Busting down walls, we do abhor,
Gliding to paradise we wield...

- Let's fly by night...

Lovely! I think this is a well thought out piece. The first stanza is my favorite, and held perfect flow. A unique approach and wonderful outcome. Good use of vocabulary, imagery, and description.

I fell in love with this poem after the 2nd stanza, it really cought me with your flowing lines and beautifully rhymed and well thought out words. It is truly lovely, and is definitely an exquisite poem that, i think, would make a grand song.

Fly by night is no doubt an exellent write.

    Farewell.
