State Of Shock

by Dying Beautifully   Sep 1, 2007

Stunned into a state of shock,
It's all because of last nights talk.
A conversation filled with hearts,
You hit the bullseye in this game of darts.

You say you praise me,
And in every beautiful rose me you see.
You miss me,
And my face you want to see.

I am the love of your life,
Almost like I could be your wife.
We are inseparable,
Your words they are impeccable.

The things you say they are impossible,
Because I yes me am unlovable.
No one really cares what I think,
I am as irregular as a blink.

So how is it that we are inseparable?
I do not think I am tolerable.
I am not as beautiful as a rose,
So how can it be that I am the one you chose?
