Perfectly Imperfect Love

by Diemmy   Sep 1, 2007

I know we're not perfect
But hey, who really is?
What is perfection anyway?
I don't think that it exists
I do however know
That we fit together close enough
Like those two stubborn puzzle pieces
I guess we're pretty tough
But that's what scissors are for
You cut here and glue there
And the results will not be perfect
But we make a fantastic pair
Learn to compromise
Learn to accept each other for who we are
Keep these two things in mind
And trust me, we'll get very far
Relationships are not perfect
But then again, love never was
Some things you can keep the same
And others you have to adjust
One thing's for sure
I know you + me=a fate sent from above
Through all our imperfections
Lies the measure of true love
