Duct Taped Heart

by TrueLover   Sep 1, 2007

Bits here, pieces there
Super glue globs
That tend to be dissolved
Crumbles and cracks
From the front to the back
That's what my heart was before you
When you walked in
My heart began to throb
Which was utterly amazing
After being so numb
The super-glued pieces
Fell all apart
But you caught and held them
From the very start
Gently you pieced
And duct taped the seams
Then you filled up the holes in between
For now and forever
Until death do us part
You are the holder
Of my duct taped heart
