Betrayed

by Isabella   Sep 1, 2007

After all the times I stood by you,
you didn't stand by me when I needed you.
Instead you denied me,
and betrayed me.
You talk about me,
behind my back.
I trusted you,
but you betrayed me.

I told you my secrets,
you told me none.
You said it would be forever,
but you lied.
I gave you my soul,
you gave me your finger.
Why Kat why?
Why did you betray me?

You made me cry inside,
you stupid hore.
When I turned to you,
you turned away.
I were there when you needed me,
you were gone when I needed you.
I trusted you,
but you betrayed me.

I told you my secrets,
you told me none.
You said it would be forever,
but you lied.
I gave you my soul,
you gave me your finger.
Why Kat why?
Why did you betray me?

I'm sitting here,
in my own little world.
Thinking about,
how we used to be.
Thinking how,
you could do this to me.
I trusted you,
but you betrayed me.

I told you my secrets,
you told me none.
You said it would be forever,
but you lied.
I gave you my soul,
you gave me your finger.
Why Kat why?
Why did you betray me?

I really like this poems because i can relate to it.
I think part of it's charm lies in being so similar to the lyrics of a song, instead of a poem.

Very intense. I felt some guilt in it. Could very well be the start of a good mantra. I liked the theme and variation.
