Stone Cold Truth

by KeyxMashingxParody   Sep 1, 2007

Echoing in the silence,
You hear words softly spoken.
Feeling them flow down your throat,
You feel words calmly choking.

Breathing deeply on a pedestal of lies,
Trying to say what you meant before.
Telling us that you didn't mean what you said,
All you're doing is lying even more.

You put this noose around your own neck,
No help from anyone but yourself.
Leading a life of tragedy and hate,
Living off your lonelinesses wealth.

Keep dreaming sweet lies,
As crisp on your tongue as wine.
Loving each second of belief,
As more thoughts of lies intertwine.

You think you have them fooled,
Yes they're all believing you now.
As you raise your hands to silence them,
They slowly be quiet and bow.

Echoing in the silence,
You hear words softly spoken.
Feeling them flow down your throat,
You feel words calmly choking.

"Keep spitting lies out your stone cold mouth, and not even truth can help you out."
