The Horsemen

by The Tears I bleed   Sep 1, 2007

Ridding in the night,
Cloaked by darkness,
The horseman is coming at midnight
Be warned if he's in your sight
You won't like what's to come
He'll come sweeping and thundering in
You'll be left silent and numb,
Caught dead in your sin

You'll cry, "Oh Rider, oh Rider!
Please spare me just this once"
He won't give you sympathy
You had your chance
You were drunkened and wasted
You fellowshipped with the swine
So why should you in Heaven dine?

One knock, then two
Another one and you're through
You should have harkened
But now the sun has set,
The sky has darkened

Such a shame,
You didn't even call upon the holy one's name
And now you'll pay the price,
You just gambled away your life
The horsemen came ridding in
And you were caught dead in your sin

So now your story will tell,
Just where exactly you dwell
Your soul you sold
Now the Devil has his hold
Exactly where you dwell,
Is in the fiery pits of hell
