I miss you

Oh, American Grit
True and hard and quick of wit
Die for the honor of dying for honor
Modern day would have a fit
An iron man hunts Sarah Connor
For they, not Washington, grows America fonder
Women and children could not vote
They've sold the country to the pawner
Politicians rape so they can float
Past leaders lacked this terr'ble bloat
We grow weak from loss of steel
Traded the strength of bear for stoat
Leaders dueled openly, now the only openly steal
Others find your children and cop a feel
What has caused us to be so weak?
Have immigrants poisoned our fruit they peel?
Or women and kids, inferior but out seven a week
Our voting chambers are sealed but they nag for a peek
The ignorant also, no test to get in
Instead of denying, we turn the other cheek
When we should be busting them on the chin
Leave your "morals" at home when you decide who'll win
Nobody but you desires the nonthreatening Pres
Washington took down the British, yet haggardly thin
Fools will vote for whosoever TV says
Women, weak men'd vote for a Frenchman, no less
Kids these days don't know of being heroic and fit
The elderly desire naught but a man in a fez
Give me a good wise Western pioneer who signs with his spit
Not an ignorant coward who knows not of true American grit.
I miss you.
