Two Moons

by Li   Sep 3, 2007

You lie on your bed
Head heavy, nauseous, dizzy
You try but couldnt get up
And still, duty calls

Prepare for battle
Fight a war fought for so long
A hundred years now in fact
But now, its different

You cut your first enemy
The scent of fresh blood wafts out
Which the Others suddenly sniff
They start to fall back

But its not over
This war will still continue
Although with you on our side
Weve a chance to win

Okay, I am going to rate this as a good poem.

I liked the flow... HOWEVER... there was not enough information for me to interpret. Who was this warrior who went to war? Why the smell of fresh blood make the enemies fall back?

However DARK this poem may sound. It still needs more information so the READER can interpret the poem.

Still, this is your 5th poem. Hell better than my first 15. So I say its a very good poem.

So I say, well done mate!

Next time, put your head in the dictionary and thesaraus and learn new words to spice up your poems mate!

    I voted 4/5.

    Good job!
