Not for your amusement

How naive of me to think
We finally got it right
It only took one hiccup
For you to take your flight

Do you ever stop to think
The crap you leaver behind
If you'd only just tell the truth
I really would'nt mind

But maybe that's just it Ben
The truth is much too cruel
And instead of opting out
You just play me for the fool

Cause when you tell the truth
There is passion in what you do
Just like earlier tonight
You said that we are through

Its so wrong to want to harm
The lover of your life
For voicing their concerns
Should never get them into strife

No-one mad you king Ben
You are common just like me
Its time you opened up your eyes
Then maybe youd just see

That how you treat your loved ones
Is not fair as youd believe
Its cruel and downright nasty
We are not to blame as you perceive

We are not your personal theme park
For you to play on when you choose
A cheap thrill when you need it
We are not here to just amuse
