Candles Flame.

by Sar   Sep 3, 2007

Our dreams would help us paint the scene,
Love held us close and made our team,
We shared our smiles
And halved our tears
A lifetime of love
Packed into nineteen years

The sun still shines,
I feel the warmth
But the rain beats down
Forever more
I'll sing you a song
And whisper your name
I'll send it to you
On the candles flame

Sometimes I smell you in the air,
I look but I don't see you there,
Hope fades as quickly
As it was gained,
On my journey to bring you
Home again

And the sun still shines,
I feel the warmth,
But the rain beats down
Forever more
I'll sing you a song,
And whisper your name
And send it to you
On the candles flame.

I'll run the fields and walk the path,
I'll swim the river to the raging wrath,
I'll search the shadows
Exposed by light,
Pull you from the dream
And hold you tight

And as quickly as stars surround the moon,
I know that I will find you soon,
I'll retrace the words
You used to say,
I'll rewind my mind
To another day

And the sun still shines
I feel the warmth,
But the rain beats down
Forever more,
I'll sing you a song
Then whisper your name
And hope that it'll reach you
On the candles flame.
