Breathing Her Last

by lostsoul13   Sep 3, 2007

Sinking to the lowest depths
of this dark abyss
Struggling to breathe
Gasping for air
without a care
in the world,
As they watch from the sidelines
Will she sink
or will she swim?
Going under
forever
She's still too far beneath
this cold black sea
to reach the surface;
treading water,
struggling to survive
With a final gasp
She sinks down
So far below
No one can see her
as she dies
breathing her last.
