Pigeon Friend

by Andrew   Sep 4, 2007

Oh my little pigeon friend,
How I wish you could share,
That funky pigeon beat,
That you always listen too,
I see you all around the place,
In stations for bus and train,
Searching around the ground,
In hope of the tiniest bit of food,
Yet you walk around the place,
Banging your head to an inaudible beat,
So if I invite you too my home,
And feed you proper food,
Away from the hustle bustle city,
Will you share it with me?
Because from how you react to it,
It seems to be damn good,
And if hearing it turns in into a pigeon,
Well gosh darn so be it,
Think I'll be one of those country pigeons,
Not a city one like you,
No offence to you but it doesn't look much fun,
Other than the beat you constantly hear,
Maybe the city life makes the beat what it is?
Oh I'll decide upon hearing it,
So how about it pigeon friend what do you say?
Give me a listen and make my day.
