He said I should wake...

by Void   Sep 4, 2007

I dream something of you,

Loving you, Having you, keeping you-
Oh, I shall do these things forever, because
Victory comes to me in the form of love,
Enlightenment dare not wake me.

Youth stay in memories of you and I,
Only because my dream is so real.
Unbelievably so... I can't let go.

Perfection has never been so tainted,
As I still see Perfect in you.
Unique and beautiful... and only mine in this dream
Let me sleep my baby, for I cannot live without you.

-------------------------------------
The title... I'm not sure...
The ending...could be better...
The meaning... quite obvious.

The title to this is perfect, truly. The emotion and sentiments are wistful, sad, loving, haunting and heartbreakingly honest. Extremely well expressed and very vivid. Excellent poem.

I think the title was good for the poem, and the ending was really good too, and yes the meaning was obvious.
This was really well written, sweetie, you did a fantastic job.
