Jenni baby;

by brittany beal   Sep 4, 2007

A hatred past, a love in bloom
these are the things that keep me close
to you
when we first met, we faced some trials
but to this day all we do is smile
you found a place within my soul
unlocked my heart that was once cold
all was lost till you were found
without you now I'd be underground

i have this friend her name is Jenni and
her loves worth far more than a penny.
without her smile, my day would be dull
without her voice I'd have little

her loving hand that tangles with mine
the way she can't dance but that too is fine
the stupid Grey pants that she wouldn't share
and the way her brother helped do her hair.

her pretty blues eyes and collection of shoes
her loyalty and black dress i didn't choose.

all the Sundays spend at summit, all the Fridays at church
these are the days that made it all worth

worth all the time that was spend with this lady
was time that was making me love her like crazy
today as i sit here and write this for her
i wonder where'd I'd be if i didn't have her.
i love her to pieces and would die in her place,
I'd protect her in battle make no mistakes.

people come and people go, but friendships that matter are the ones that grow old.
forever i hope that you'll be by my side, through thick and through thin even if we fight.

together the bond we've created with time,
will prove that love matters even when we die.
