If only i could.

I write poem after poem,
just trying to express these feelings bottled up inside.
there's just no words that seem right.
i know i told you i was over it, well i kind of lied.
you're my everything, my world and more.
it was stupid to let you go,
we just got so close, i trusted you too much.
i didn't want to be the one to get hurt, but in the end i was.
i know i could just say "I Love You." and such.
only there's so much more i need to say.
maybe some day I'll get the nerve to tell you,
I'm just afraid you won't feel the same, or you won't understand.
and it's gotten really hard, because I've needed you more than ever lately.
i really want to go throughout life with you, hand-n-hand.
I'm sorry i hurt you, and I'd take it all back if i could.
