Been trying hard for so long
Not sure what else can happen
Rectifying all mistakes
Yet it's not enough

Despair has me in it's grasp
Tightly gripping this lost soul
Only misery exists
Not much left to give

Always thought that I'd survive
Thought I'd overcome this pain
Only now I'm on a road
That leads to nowhere
