Have you heard of the Pain

by Blease   Sep 4, 2007

You've all heard of love,
The feeling
Of having someone who feels the same
Someone to hold
Someone to kiss
Someone to just be with
And the beauty and greatness of it,
You've all heard the happy stories,
The successes
But have you heard of the pain,
The misery and grief,
When you lose that one you love,
When you can't hold
Can't kiss
Can't just be with
You wish that your love will last forever
You never think it will end
But it comes
And it hurts
People say you'll find someone else
But all you want is that love
Which you had before
When you had the beauty and greatness of love
Have you heard of this pain

Wow, that was really powerful. have you tried song writing? cuz i think that could be turned into a song, and it'd be wonderful (:
i really hope things have looked up for you *if this is based on truth* as amorypaz mentioned, it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all. love can show you how strong you are, whether its still alive or dorment...it pulls out the best in people. keep on shining! (:

Love is pain and pain is beautiful
and I suppose it's the same as the saying it is better to have loved and lost than to have never had loved at all. at least you experienced the beauty of it and that must out weigh the bad.
    5/5! really liked this poem!
