Imagining

by Hazel   Sep 4, 2007

You were so warm in my reverie
And yet you are a stranger to me
Your eyes utter such deep affection
And your soft touch
Holds such pure passion
I was a happy slave in your arms
And my lips were willing when you kiss
You are my shield against the real world
And I am the ghost who feels so cold
You could have been here with me today
And have the courage
To stop and stay
But I believe truth hurts when I wake
