Dad.

by Tamara   Sep 5, 2007

This is not going to be much,
so do not worry about sweet time.
Give a moment for your daughter
and what she has to say.

The other day I was thinking
about all the time we have lost.
How youu do not know the silly little habits
that I do every single day.

It hurt to think about it,
to know that you could have,
SHOULD HAVE,
seen it all.

I am at that age now,
where boys are coming over.
I guess I have been there a while,
But I thought I would let you know.

You were never the dad,
Who would get protective over me,
To worry where I am at night,
Cause I am a half hour late.

I was only four hey?
I never really knew you,
I have four memories of us,
And two of them are bad.

I know you love,
That is not what this is about,
I just wish you wouldd try harder,
To get to see me, Dad.
