She Will Be Loved

by Beautiful Chaos   Sep 5, 2007

Crying in the summer rain
She knew she'd never be the same
In life there is no greater pain
The loss of love, a sense of shame

Rain could heal her aching heart
The pitter pat throughout the dark
Echoes of when life did start
Before the flame, a single spark

She felt a moment of pure peace
When love gave her what she seeks
Now her search can never cease
Though she lost it, it still speaks

Love pulls her out into the night
Rekindling her lust for life
She will be loved, she'll be alright
Though love did scar her like a knife
