Nights we cannot share

I cry for the nights we cannot share
The songs you will never sing
I shed a tear for the thoughts of you
The thoughts that haunt my dreams

While lives are thrust into despair
I think of all that was lost
One life that meant so much to many
A life not fully lived

You were someone who made heads turn
Hearts beat and tears fall
You were one of many words
Yet not enough was said

    Rachel, this is an excellent poem. Truly wonderful, short but full of so much emotion and hurt.. It reminds me of my ex everytime I read it. I know how this feels.. and yeah, it sucks. Please keep up the great work and keep writing! 5/5 <3 <3 <3
