Oh Cindy, such a bittersweet piece. You have such strong emotion that I saw everything with my own eyes, heard the guitar, etc. Thanks for sharing this. :)

This was one of the best of the saddest poems I’ve ever read.
Some memories are just too good to be forgotten *sigh*

Cindy if you got anything from Johns love...if you wonder if it had an impact on anything...know this....the love you two shared gives a 16 yr old girl in Toledo Ohio so much hope that I can some day have that....that the people who say "theres no such thing as love" or...."love doesn't exsist these days" are just a bunch of liers who have no hope for themselves...because you've shown me with these beautiful poems that you can fall in love at a young age if you do it smartly.......
God bless you both :-) I loved this

WOW Cindy - very heartfelt ,it directly goes and hits something there and makes one shudder , it does flash into my mind all the bygone days the b'tful days and makes me melancholic.
Be strong Im sure John too would hav wanted you to do the same and Im sure you guys would be together in all eternity.

I would also like to have you review my poem - For there is Hope , I know its nothing like wat u write but a humble attempt from my end to motivate and infuse hope into people.

    Finally keep writing :)

Very sad--it reminds me of my ex and me how hard it was. She played the guitar and sang to me.

    5/5 keep it up

This paints such a broad and beautiful painting of words, images and emotions. A sad, almost haunting, but also a happy, loving and beautiful memory to hold on to forever. Excellent, Cindy, as always.

    Peace, poetry & Power,

"Years now have come and gone
    The days pass slowly by
    Now left with only memories
And the tear drops that I cry"

Only you Cindy, can make me cry with such a beautiful poem..
That stanza touched me, the whole poem did
You'll see him again one day, i know it, and make even more memories

A wonderful scene you've painted. As a guitarist, I of course responded to that aspect of the poem, as well as the deep love for your John.
