God, Can You Hear Me?

by Sheree Speaks   Sep 6, 2007

I'm sick of people's standards.
I'm sick of people's lies.
I'm sick of the pressure.
I'm sick of all the flies.

I'm sick of all the homework.
I'm sick of all the air-heads.
I'm sick of feeling dumb and weak,
Sick of rather feeling dead.

I'm sick of going to bed early.
I'm sick of all the dead lines.
I'm sick of getting up early.
I'm sick of all the fines.

I'm sick of being patronized.
I just want to be free.
I'm smarter than I look?
Why can't you see?

I'm not what you think I am.
I'm more than anything you can dream.
I'm a person too, maybe more.
But all this insanity makes me scream!

Where am I? What's going on?
Can't you see what it's doing to me?
I pray for peace, I pray for good.
God, can you hear me?

Life can be rather overwhelming, just remember God does hear you, and he's looking out for you, just look for the small things that make you happy and work up from there
