Legacy

To see the blood,
Eviscerate the living man,
To hear him roar in pain.

And remove the King of restraint,
from his undeserving throne.
Torture him and make him suffer,
Feel the wrath of justice.
Slowly screw his crown and laugh,
Eyes wide with fear and anguish,
And as he hits the floor,
Squirming in the dirt,
Kick him while hes down,
Make sure he feels the hurt,
Eliminate his only prayer,
By crushing through his hands,
With knives and clubs and sheer brute strength,
Don't let him breathe a word,
Punishment is swift,
and Death is sure to come,
His kingdom lies beneath him,
As breathless as himself,
And yet he smiles,
As blood spills out his wounds,
He knows what hes accomplished,
He knows all is not lost,
He knows theres one that still exists,
To carry on his reign,
The one thats looking down on him,
With bloody hands and sweat,
The one that beat him to a pulp,
And spat as he lay dead,
The one that now picks up the crown,
And puts it on his head,
And sits atop the God damned throne,

His father's son indeed.

I like the twist at the end.
Bit raw, some of the language, but the poem is supposed to host a kind of rough emotion and feel anyway.
