Still pretending

Still pretending

The night was beautiful inside
as the moon takes a glimpse down
while people commemorating lively
eagerness,overlook their frown

celebrity lights shines pale
people dancing with such grace
party songs appease every ears
hiding the sadness on their face

Elevated stars on celestial bliss
shines upon the tormented souls
providing some mere determination
a strength they needed the most

People hanging just to stay happy
knowing that life is a nightmare
yet fancy mirrors discern the truth
and still pretending life is fair
